Welcome to the CDA Online Resource Center CDA is a Twelve Step fellowship of men and women whose primary purpose is to stay clean and sober and to help others like us to achieve recovery from chemical dependence. The Fellowship of CDA Chemically Dependent Anonymous deals entirely with the disease of addiction. We of CDA do not make distinctions in the recovery process based on any particular substance, believing that the addictive-compulsive usage of chemicals is the core of our disease and the use of any mood-changing chemical will result in relapse. That has been amply demonstrated by the program and the fellowship of Chemically Dependent Anonymous in its very brief, yet dynamic, existence. The idea behind C.D.A. is not original, by any means, as its co-founders and members will readily admit. What is that idea? It is one based on the principle of simplicity that Alcoholics Anonymous has so strongly advocated in a time-proven format designed to give direction to those suffering from addiction to alcohol.
