The same as many of us, he has been a victim of alcoholism and sufferws from diabetes too. We need to understand that health is the greatest wealth and chemical dependency in any form is an anti-life evil.

Some of us do not really 'get it' when it comes to comprehending what true recovery from chemical addiction is all about in terms of working on our day-to-day sobriety, continued recovery and spiritual liberty from all forms of substance addiction, human character defects and personal shortcomings.

We must address the deeper underlying causes of our outward manifestations of chemical-substance addiction. Mere sobriety just for today is good but not enough to really cure us. We seek a cure!

Unless we deal with the inner causes of our chemical-substance addiction we are doomed to keep going into homeless shelters, rehab programs and various forms of enclosed institutions.
