Here is a picture of Brother Phil B. and myself before a CASA Meeting a few weeks ago. I have known him for a few years now and it was recently good to see h im again.

Not the best shot, but then some times are better than other times. Sometimes in our on-going recovery we can stray away from our continued recovery, have a slip, then, a slip can lead us into dire straits and an obvious relapse.

Hopefully, if we are hip to the concept of recovery and its principles, plus, know bout recovery tools then we can catch ourselves before it gets worse and we end up in jail, a psychiatric institution or actual physical death.

Although, there are different kinds of death. Some people who are lost in their prolonged addiction are dead in spirit and are not even aware of it on a real conscious level.

Mark 7:21-23 “For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.”
