Update: On the CASA Blogspot

Update On the CASA Blogspot

The CASA Blog was created as a real enhancement for the CASA Online Group. As a rule, the CASA Online Group has been really inactive over these last years and I must take some responsibility for it because of my own relapses, slips and character defects.

The Progressive Recovery Blog!

My new sober recovery date is June 24, 2004. The day I re-entered into my personal progressive recovery program went 'in-house' at the Salvation Army 'Center of Hope' Emergency Shelter. I have been there before a few times and each time I come out of it stronger and more addicted {as in 'devoted' ~ see Corinthians} to my sober progressive recovery. My longest length of sobriety and recovery was during the time I was at Mather Community Campus {MCC}, out by Rancho Cordova in Sacra County. I have learned from my past mistakes and see the great value of truly taking it one day at a time. It ain't brain surgery.

I utilize Internet Power as a mass communication tool for connecting, sharing and learning from others on the basic common agenda of humane rights.

I actually have ‘a real life’ in three spheres:

1. an existential life offline;

2. a cyber life online; and

3. a my life inline, a sphere when I am in prayer, meditation and study for my own Spiritual Balance.

Thus, as time passes, I see the value of creating, checking in and updating a BLOG for myself. Plus, whoever has the luxury time of being online, wants to come and stop by to visit for a time, then go onward out into cyberspace and beyond into the rest of connected reality.

How to Splatter Your Brains On Blogs! =Blog by Peter S. Lopez
http://humane-horizons.blogspot.com/2006/05/how-to-splatter-your-brains-on-blogs.html

Definition: Blog is short for web log which is a journal (or newsletter) that is frequently updated and intended for general public consumption. Blogs generally represent the personality of the author and it is available on the web. The activity of updating a blog is "blogging" and someone who keeps a blog is a "blogger." Blogs are typically updated daily using software that allows people with little or no technical background to update and maintain the blog.

    Hi Peter,

    I read your blog and I like it! The picture of Jeff and the comments on your CASA meeting were inspiring.
    I really like the energy of your new name - Keep Coming Back! - now onto the real deal: "Present tense," by Beth Carey states- "No matter what the specific difficulty, it appears that Jesus consistently healed by this same method. For example, when he encountered those accused of sinful behavior, Jesus didn't make a habilt of questioning them about their errant pasts. Instead, he seemed more intent on simply helping them be free from sin."
    The entire article can be found at Spirituality.com (look up Beth Carey).
